Carla established her practice August, 2011, after leaving her position as a District Hearing Officer with the Ohio Industrial Commission. After a few years, she out grew the space and opened an office located in uptown Westerville Ohio. However, Carla has clientele throughout Ohio and will travel to you to discuss your case.
As a former Hearing Officer for the Industrial Commission, Carla Cannon knows the intricacies of the system and has the ability to analyze case strategy from a different perspective. She has a working relationship with many BWC certified physicians which makes it easier for her to help you get the treatment and medical evidence that you need.
Carla represents clients at district and staff hearings before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, Common Pleas Courts, and in the Tenth District Court of Appeals. She worked as an attorney for Chairman William Thompson and then as a District Hearing Officer for the Industrial Commission of Ohio.
After working as, a District Hearing Officer, she realized that she missed fighting for injured workers’ rights. Watching her business grow, the real satisfaction is knowing that she is making a difference in each and every client.
